FREDDY AVALOS

Executive director.

Lima, Perú

EXPERIENCE

A professional tour guide, he is a tireless explorer in the Amazon rainforest, Andean mountain, and the dry desert coast of Peru. After finishing school, he moved to Lima where he lived in a human settlement for a year, which gave him a deep understanding of the day-to-day challenges of poor communities along the Peruvian coast, he traveled the various Inca roads of Peru with groups of adventurers where he had the opportunity to visit and converse constantly with the inhabitants of communities in extreme poverty in very isolated areas in the Andes, lover of nature and He was a volunteer park ranger in the Manu National Park where he interacted with native communities in the pristine rainforest of Manu protected area. He is a bird watcher and is now an expedition leader on cruises to the Amazon River and is a passionate lover of Peruvian coastal archeology in northern Peru.

He is a philanthropist, always organizing aid for poor communities in the different regions of Peru, bringing food, medicine, clothes and gifts for children during the Christmas season.
